My small business: ZEROART.X

Starting from 2024 I launched my own art shop as a freelance artist and have been utilising Instagram and TikTok to promote my products, website and events that I attend.

I discovered that I reach my target audience easier on TikTok compared to Instagram through behind the scenes and sticker making content, as well as funny and relatable content through the use of editing and trending audios.

Growing my art accounts and art products led me to being able to attend markets where I'm able to hold my own art stall which has been a dream of mine! 

I really value sharing my artwork in person as I get to put a face to some of my audience, and I get to build a closer connection with the friendly art community!

Digital Marketing Strategy Practice

This was a practice plan of creating a marketing strategy for a brand and product.

I selected the brand L'Occitane and decided to bring more attention to their eco refill products as this product heavily aligns with their goals and values of being 'Cultivators of change' in product quality and being positive for the environment.

SMART marketing objective: The goal is to increase brand awareness for their ‘eco refill’ products, having increased website traffic of page views by 30% in the next 3 months (from October to December 2024).

Client Website for a small business

This project required a website to be made for a client who owns a small business.

My client Clover required a website to be made showcasing their artworks and a space for their followers to keep interacted and updated with their latest works.

Core needs for client's site:

  • Blog page (With categories and tags in SEO)

  • Portfolio

  • Contact footer​

Through this project I learnt how to use WIX to make websites, based on client needs through discussion, as well as keeping consistency with their branding throughout the whole website for strong brand identity, and including good SEO with tags and information especially in the blog pages.​

Consumer Behaviour study- The Body Shop

This research project was on a chosen brand in Australia, analysing how they market on their social media pages, finding out what seems to work for them and what doesn't, as well as studying their target market (what influences them and relation to the customer engagement journey) and suggesting what they should do in the future for their marketing strategy.

Media Release

Following the RMIT brand guide for a media release, I have written one based on the topic of accessibility spoken through artistic expression, including research from RMIT articles and edited and improved through a process of meetings, as well as writing meeting minutes.

Industry Report- Marketing Communications

This report displays my research on the marketing communications industry, roles, and how certain jobs are effected by certain trends. A marketing communication sample is also included which follows the RMIT brand style guide and improved based on feedback.
